Phonak Supero AS4 audio i/p shoe for MLx/MLxS use - Please note, these shoes are not compatible with the MicroMLxS or the Amigo.
Contacts: 2 on one side Hearing aid microphone live ID Marks: AS4-MLxS Color: Clear with dark grey/silver base, contoured to make a smooth join with the MLxS
Two versions are available, both have a catch to lock the shoe to the hearing aid. One has a finger release button and the other has a recessed release catch (requiring a pointy thing such as a biro end). The picture above shows the finger release version.
Note: both these versions have a catch to retain it to the hearing aid. A screw to lock the MLxS module and shoe together is also available.
Phonak shoes for use with MLx receivers have an additional battery contact pin in the base which is quite delicate. There should be a matching slot in the hearing aid battery drawer - a broken battery contact pin is a common cause of an MLx/MLxS failure.
